We are a cruising club, with the aim of bringing together people from all walks of life and all cruising levels of ability, to share companionship, knowledge and experience.
With our members mainly located around Sydney, Pittwater/ Broken Bay and Lake Macquarie, we have montly cruises or ‘Sailaways’ around these areas.
We also support members’ goals to head further afield, the Whitsundays and overseas.
Our members range from those very new to sailing and highly experienced members. With such a range of experiences and skills, there is a deep well of knowledge and a treasure of great stories and advice from which to learn.
The CCCA was founded in 1969 in Sydney to represent boat owners when goverments started to create laws around boat use and ownership. The CCCA is one of Australia’s largest and oldest organisations for people that want to cruise and meet like minded souls. We have 174 members of all ages and backgrounds, and around 110 both mono and multihull boats.
If you’re interested in cruising, have a yacht, and want to mix with like-minded people, please contact us.
